1 Roasted Nori

If you want crispness and texture in your nori, choose “yaki-nori”!

Crispness should be of the great features of nori, and yaki-nori guarantees the enjoyment of this crispness. Our craftsmanship based on long study and research has led to the best thickness and degree of roasting.

In addition, our nori is packaged in aluminum foil. Most producers put their nori in plastic bags which allow moisture to get in after a few weeks and the nori becomes damp. So as not to ruin the crispness gained through roasting, we pay attention even to these details so that consumers can enjoy really good roasted seaweed.

Dry nori

Great value! If you want to enjoy the flavor of the sea, “kan-nori” is recommended!

“Kan-nori” offers more sea flavor than “yaki-nori” as it doesn’t go through a roasting process.

“Kan-nori” is often used at sushi restaurants. It has a higher moisture content (3~5%) than “yaki-nori”, so it can be enjoyed even when not eaten immediately.

Though not as crisp as “yaki-nori,” “kan-nori” doesn’t get sticky or tough. And, because it doesn’t go through a roasting process, it doesn’t cost as much. Great quality for great value!

“Kan-nori” is black or red-purple, so if you want to emphasize the darker hues of your dish, “kan-nori” is appropriate

焼きバラ干し海苔Scattered Nori

Use this original shape of Nori for any dishes such as soup, salad and source.

Nori which is not yet shaped into a square-shaped sheet is called bara Nori. We roast fresh picked nori gently until it becomes crispy keeping its shape and produce roasted bara Nori. Bara Nori has more flavor and umami since we don't damage Nori cell in the process. Yaki-bara-nori can be used for many foods. You can put them on Ramen, miso soup, Pasta, you can also make cream sauce with yaki-bara-Nori Since it is rich in protein, dietary fiber, vitamins, calcium, EPA, beta-carotene and amino acid, it is becoming more and more popular among vegetarian.
